The pool I designed is a 12' x 20' Roman style with an average depth of 4 feet. Attached is a 7' spa.
I want to have an inground pool cleaning system, Any particular type to get or stay away from?
How many Pumps will I need? I was thinking of cartridge filtration, and chlorine generator. I have a jandy onetouch Rev L... that will handle 4 other functions on order.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan

The filter and pump should be sized together.
When you say cleaning system do you want an in-floor cleaning system or an automatic pool cleaner like a Polaris, Zodiac, etc.?

In floor, with the series of pop up heads etc.
Sorry for the confusion.

The mfr of in floor cleaning systems that I briefly considered is from Paramount. http://www.paramountpoolproducts.com/index.php
I decided against the system mainly for cost reasons. I have not used the system but understand they work well in climates where you are trying to move sand and fine particles to the main drain. From what I understand the in floor systems dont work as well on heavy leaves, etc.
I am going to get the paramount MDX drains and canister installed though. Just in case I want to sweep leaves or whatever to the main drain I like that it goes to a skimmer like canister poolside.
I am not familiar with any other mfr of in floor cleaning systems.

I've never personally dealt with an in-floor system however these are two more vendors to consider:
Polaris:

Thanks for the information... yes that's my primary reason for the in-floor lots of blowing sand here in Las Vegas.
