We've got an in ground pool/spa and the spa doesn't have an air booster pump but simply a separate pipe notched out which sucks air in while the jets are on creating a more powerful jet (Not sure what this setup is called).
Anyhow, once in a while, when turning the spa on, the air doesn't get sucked in and simply turning the pump off..wait...on would then "fix itself" and the spa jets would be strong. Well, that's not working anymore. I don't see anything above ground blocking the air inlet... Should I assume if the air isn't mixing with the spa jets that something is blocked? Seems like such a straight forward issue so I don't know if I should be looking at something else causing the problem?
Thanks!
