What is your salt reading, btw?
First thing to do is to bring your FC level up to 10 ppm to get rid of the CC, Easiest way is with bleach (sorry, at work now on a Mac and don't have access to bleachcalc to figure out how much to add)
Second thing to do is get some stabilizer (CYA) in the water to bring it up to (and here is where the great debate can start:eek:) somewhere between 30-80 ppm. It seems that most SWG manufacturers recommend 60-80 ppm and many of the people on this board that might or might not use them like to stay between 30-50 ppm. I personally keep my CYA between 60-80 ppm and my FC (from a SWG) at around 3 ppm and I have had no problems.
Third thing is to maybe bring your TA up just a bit with baking soda....maybe around 100-120
Your pH will creep up with the use of the SWG...nature of the beast! Just keep an eye on it and when it gets to about 7.8 use muriatic acid to bring it back down.

Happy swimming!

Thanks for the info! I take it I can only get stabalizer from a pool store... Is it Cyanuric Acid? Salt is about 2900PPM I think last I checked...

You can also find CYA at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. in the pool dept. Shop for price! It is all the same stuff!
Don't know for sure on the autopilot (Poolsean could answer it better than me) but I THINK the recommended level for salt is 3200 ppm. Might want to check in your manual.
