Started taping my seams on the styrofoam bottom and cannot get the tape to stick for more than several hours...I have several brands and an array of colors. Also, I taped the bolts for the stainless wall panel and the duct tape pulled away overnight...the wall was clean to start with. Can somoeone name me a tape that has true adhesion????

Kind of strange because real duct tape sticks to almost anything if clean and dry. Try cleaning the surfaces with denatured alcohol (paint departments) or at least the 90% isopropyl alcohol and let it dry for a few minutes before taping. I've used laquer thinner at times on unpainted metals and some plastics but on some materials like the foam it will dissolve it. The only duct tape I ever used was the plain old gray stuff from Home Depot or equivalent. Never saw other colors.

There is some new stuff called Gorilla tape, made by the folks that make Gorilla glue (that stuff is awesome if used correctly). It is supposed to work on pretty much anything.

Well, if it comes in different colors, then it's cheap tape, like mentioned before regular Silver/grey is the best - try 3M they make good stuff. I've also used some black 3M and it's also good.
