Impressive, what is the bottom made from? How big is it? How many gallons will it be? And ultimately, how much is the estimated cost? I really like that style.

The bottom is vermiculite. It is a 16x36, oasis. The contract price was $23,500. Extras were a Hayward 250k btu heater, aqua rite salt system.

That is not bad at all. It looks easy enough to set up, that was a weeks work and the messy part was almost done.

Yeah we have been very happy with the PB so far. The liner is done but they are waiting for a sunny day to put it in. Possibly tomorrow.

also Sean can you tell me about the Hayward 250k btu heater..I know you need a subpanel 220v was there extra cost involved??I get 80`from my PB and was wondering if that 80` could be used to the subpanel or if a seperate run needs to be made for the filters and the subpanel.
concerned about the cost.
thanks-

Hi, Very nice. Your going to love Vinyl pools. I have same setup as you. With over 10" of rain here in the past month, I backwashed and pool never went cloudy on me. My pool been built now for over 4 months and have not really had to do anything. Well except today, I had to add 80lbs of salt to get it back to about 3400ppm. It was down to 2700, but I am sure most of the salt was gone due to all the backwashing from the rain overflow.
Anyways, mine is 17x33
Looks like yours pool manufacture is Imperial. They are truly the best materials out to for vinyl liner pools (IMHO).
here some of mine, if I can share here w/ you:

Very nice Mike. I like the water fall. Yes the pool is imperial, glad to hear good things. The only additional cost was for the gas line, I am getting 100' of electric so hopefully that will be enough. The concrete work will be done in the spring.

Yes, that sounds very familiar. Here is ours just after filling....Still had a lot to do at that time.

Very nice similar shape. The only thing I regret is the filter location being close to the pool. I have to enclose the pool with a fence and I wanted the filter to be inside the fence area. I also had set backs to worry about, I will just have to figure out a way to screen it out, shrubs for putting some 4' vinyl fence around it.

Pool was covered yesterday. They will come back in spring and get the filter and salt system going. Will also have concrete work done in spring as well.
