Can some of you please tell me what your rebar size and quantity requirements were?

I am trying to get some rough estimates for quantity so I can start shopping prices.

My pool is 40 x 25 and about 30k gals with 8' spa

I know exactness is out, so rough estimates will do for now.

Gordon, this may or may not help. I am in the construction phase of my pool. I took pics of the steel install. My pool is 36' x 22' w/ a 7' spa (est. 21K gals). The rebar used is as follows:
Beam = #4 Rebar continuous / 4 bar box beam
Walls/ Floor = #3 Rebar on 8" Centers

I am not sure what part of the states you are from. Codes may be different where you are located. You should be able to come up with close estimates with a little math. I have included a pic of my steel install. I hope that helps. Good luck.

We don't do very many concrete pools in my neck of the woods, but here is the spec from the latest commercial job I bid on:
Double Mat of 1/2" rebar horizontally on 16" centers in walls
Double Mat of 3/4" rebar vertically on 12" centers in walls
Double Mat of 3/4" rebar on 12" centers both ways in floor
Needless to say, this is a heck of a lot of rebar and probably a lot more than you need.
