I called a local pool maintenace company on Wednesday morning. They sent someone over that evening. He couldn't believe how much concrete was in the pool. Never saw anything like it. He used a net to get all the large stones out (which after a week were still in there), then came back last night with a portable filter and vacuumed out the rest. DONE! My pb should be ashamed of himself. In less than two hours, this guy did what my pb should have done right away. It makes me sick to think that he sucked all that debris through my system, and that I basically had to fill my pool twice because of the way he backwashed. Also, my pb has never even come out to look the pool after it happened. He just sent a non-professional who didn't even know how to use the equipment. I'm just so relieved that stuff is out of my pool.

Tisha, you are right about what the pb, he's a total cumquat! Getting the chunks out of the pool is, obviously, the first step, he couldn't even handle that??? You and I may be the only people here who have ever seen this (and let's hope that no one else ever does!). Have you had the water tested? as I said in the other thread, that much crete dumped into the pool can have some nasty effects. Again, I hope that this doesn't adversely effect your pool. :)

Hi waste. My husband has been testing and so far everything seems pretty normal. The sides of the pool feel gritty, but we haven't really scrubbed them down yet. I'll ask my husband to write down the test results and post them here. Since we're new to owning a pool we'll take all the advice we can get! I love these forums.
