I am going to be leaving town for 2 weeks with no one to attend to my pool.
I have a small volume endless pool (1500 gal). Covered always. I keep my Fc around 3-5ppm with a CYA of around 20-30
I was thinking of using some form of solid chlorine for this. What dissolves slower. Trichlor pucks, CaHypo sticks. I just don't to have a FC of zero when I return
Thanks
Andy

I would shock with bleach, add a tri-chlor puck in a floater and dose with polyquat just to be sure. With a cover, you should be fine.

Trichlor will dissolve much slower than cal-hypo, just keep in mind that it will also pull your pH down. I agree with David...shock it, put trichlor in a floater (make sure your pH is high enough to compensate and that you don't let it float to the edge of the pool) and cover it. The worst thing that will happen is that you'll have to shock it again when you get back...
