I was really skeptical about the A&A manufacturing "QuikChlor" SWG they wanted to use, so I told them I want an AquaRite. I couldn't find any parts or info on the Quikchlor, that had me a little nervous.

i don't blame you..i saw a # of re-branded chlorinators..it came down for me to what appeared to be the most used brands..autopilot and aquarite (hayward). it was an easy choice for me to go with the autopilot in the end given i liked the temp compensation feature and more so than anything..the support..i've asked sean numerous questions here and offsite and despite the #, the fact many went beyond the autopilot itself, his patience with me and his quick responses even when on road trips..i was might impressed. i did contact hayward with a few questions and they were relatively fast in replying but limited in their knowledge..at least the person who i was talking with who was clearly a sales person with no technical knowledge beyond the features..she kept on "having to get back to me". i like sean's "all in one" product knowledge:)

I like the autopilot too, it looks like its replacement elements are cheaper as well...hmm...

I have used an Autopilot for 6 years, and upgraded to a PoolPilot 2 years ago, 8 years in total.
