Enter your pool size in gallons. Enter the bleach strength as a whole number, enter 6% as 6. The strength of your bleach should be on the side of the bottle. It'll generally be either 5.25% or 6%.

Next you have to know how much increase you need. If your pool is at 0 PPM Cl and you want to get to 5 PPM, put 5 in the box that says "PPM increase desired". Click calculate. The box that says "bleach required" is how much bleach you need to pour in.

Run your filter on "filter" not recirculate. Won't do you much good otherwise! :)

Is there a bleach calc. that uses gallons for volume,.. and inches and feet for other measures? Instead of litres and meters.

Thanks

I would have to say L is for Liters, but to help you out, there are 3.785L in 1 US Gal.

Go under More Calcs and then Settings to change the units from metric to imperial.

That makes perfect sense... I should have thought of that.. too impatient to look,.. I guess.

THANKS!
