This may not be the correct catagory to put this question under, so forgive me...
Does anyone know of a free software program... database, spreadsheet, whatever...
to Record testing results in & keep track of changes etc...?
I know you can buy programs that tell you how much chemicals to add & such
( like Michael's free bleach claculator)
but I'm looking for a freebie if it's out there...
( & it doesn't have to be "smart", telling me the additives necessary; I just want to keep better records)
Thanks

I have an Excel spread sheet that I just designed. It is pretty much just for record-keeping, but I did put in some 'conditional formatting' so if a value is outside the recommended range, the font will be a different color. Just a small help to me so I don't have to always be comparing values.
I also put the CYA chart there. I plan to modify it (ETA: the spreadsheet*) after we actually get the pool with an area that will tell me how much to add to MY pool (ex: 2 2/3 cups 6% bleach to raise Cl by 1 ppm, if I get a 10000 gal pool)
This is for an AG pool that I plan to keep CYA at 30-50; no heater, so I am not worried about CH.
(Edited) PM me if you are interested in a copy. You may feel free to modify it if you wish.
*ETA: I did not mean I would modify the Best Guess CYA chart  I meant I would modify my spreadsheet to include such things as how much bleach I need to raise my pool 1ppm.

Any spreadsheet or database program should work for this. I have used Excel for years to do all sorts of mundane record keeping. If you don't have Excel,a very good alternative is OpenOffice. It has free spreadsheet, word processing, and database programs that are very modern.
