I have a 2 month old pool and want to add SWG as a matter of convenience. Our water has been in great shape using the BBB method (FC: 4.4, CC: 0, pH: 7.4, TA: 100, CH: 200, CYA: 40-50), but I'd like to reduce my maintenance role to managing pH with muratic acid and testing.

We have a spa that is cut into a corner of the pool, so I assume that we'd have to disable the SWG while the spa was running (to avoid overwhelming spa users with chlorine). We already have the Jandy Aqualink system that controls the pump, spa, heater, and lights, so I'm thinking that the integration with Jandy's Aquapure makes it a no brainer to go that route. Any thoughts one way or the other?

I believe you can use the Aqualink to select a lower SWCG setpoint (chlorine output) when you are in spa mode, so you will still be chlorinating the spa, but not to excessive levels.

Also, if you buy the Purelink system new, controlling a Jandy SWCG doesn't use up one of your auxiliary circuits. I don't know if that's true for an older Aqualink or not (if not, maybe they have a workaround - this is assuming that you're running short of aux circuits - may be a non-issue).

You may wish to contact Jandy.
