Is anyone familiar with the Jacuzzi brand of pool equipment - good, bad or otherwise? Thanks -

Jacuzzi equipment, while not bad, will very likely not have factory support in the near future. The company (Cantar) that bought the pool equipment division has stopped, or will soon stop production.

I have a jacuzzi pool, I believe it may be as old as thrity years... Pool & hot tub employees have commented on how great it looks & are shocked at the age.

I also have a jacuzzi sand filter... I would guess it to be around 7 years old... works well & looks almost new ( from the outside... don't know what it looks like inside it)

You didn't say what type of jacuzzi equipment specifically, so I hope my answer helped in some way

I have a Jacuzzi pump and cartridge filter. The pump blew after two years.

Thanks to all for their replies. A possible pool builder that I might use in the future uses that particular type equipment (pump and filter) but it doesn't sound as though they will in the future if the company is about to stop production. I had heard about the Canada acquisition but didn't realize they were stopping production. Thanks everyone for the info -
