I have a IG salt water, 11,000 gallon plaster pool with spa. My water is clear and enjoyable however I am getting white deposits around the edge of the pool(Calcium deposits that are hard to clean off the painted rock formations)
My current numbers using the PS234 kit are:

FC 2.0
CC 0
TC 2.0
PH 7.7
ALK 80
CAL 500
CYA 90
Temp 85

Any suggestions? Maybe a 1/2 water change? to lower the CAL and CYA. The colrine generator mfg. says the CYA should be 75. We have hard water and I am not sure a water chnge will help the CAL reading.

Test your fill water first, If it is below 500 then it would be worth a partial drain and refill. This way you will lower the cya also.
