lowering water in vinyl liner pool

my CYA is 100, so i need to drain a lot of water from my vinyl inground pool.
how much water can i safely remove ?
i'm assuming there are issues with removing too much water at once from this type of pool.

I would try and replace half the water which would put your cya level at about 50 which is a good level. That won't hurt your liner.
