Hi:
I have a FAFCO Solar Bear Economy System 4x20 solar panel for a 15 x24 oval pool. I have the panel mounted on a garage roof which is south facing and gets the sun for most of the day (no trees to shade). Anyway I have a 1.5 HP pump to move the water up to the panel and to the pool. I have 1.5 inch ABS pipes running about a foot under ground to the pool. The distance from the pump to the pool is about 25 feet. My question is would I be loosing a lot of heat in that distance from the solar panel to the pool compared to say if the panel was beside the pool?
