When using Ben's Test kit, how important is color comparison? I currently have 3 different test kits and still feel like at times that I'm guessing values for chlorine level. I am just wondering what would be the easiest chlorine test without having to guess whether my chlorine level is closer to 2 or 3 or whatever. I am constantly asking my wife what color she thinks things are the closest to and it is pretty annoying! I would like to know how the FAS-dpd test compares to just DPD and OTO testing (which are the ones I have). Is there less color matching or is that still an issue? Trying to justify to the better half why I need one more test kit:D

Thanks in advance

The FAS-DPD test would be very beneficial to you as it was for me.

I have some color blindness too but am very confident in reading the FAS-DPD test. It doesn't need comparison rather it starts out red or pink depending on FC level. The test water goes to clear after the appropriate amount of drops are added. Now I do have some trouble telling if the test water in the tube still has a slight hint of pink but with this method I am assured to get my FC correct within .5ppm.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
