Hi! This is my first post, so please forgive me if I do anything incorrectly! :)

We are just starting our pool (they laid it out today and will start to dig tomorrow).

In any case, we are getting a Diamond Brite finish and I am in the process of selecting colors. I found some good color selectors online, but I was wondering if anyone could post (or email) photos of their pools and tell me what color their finish is. Those photos online are so small!

My husband likes Oyster Quartz, but I'm open to other options.

Any help is very much appreciated!

TIA!

If you go to Southern Grout and Morter's website they have a few pictures.

I am looking to get either super blue, or french gray. I will have the builder take me by a few of the pools to see the colors. But I do kind of like the look of oyster quartz.

Something that you might consider when choosing your colors is that depending on where your pool is located if there is a shade over the pool, color tile and position of the pool as to when the sun comes up and points sun into your pool will have a effect on the color of your pool. Just advising you so you have these points in perspective.

There are a few pictures of Diamond Brite here.

Does anyone know how much longer a diamond brite pool will last compared to a plaster pool?

to be honest with you i've seen regular plaster last as long as 20 years with the proper chemistry and weekly service of course, so Diamond Brite should last just as long if not longer based on its durability to stains etc.
