My pool is 18'X33' with 52" wall 18000 gal.
You will need to get your alk and ph up asap. According to the bleach calc, you will need 18 lbs of baking soda to get your alk up to 100. It will also raise your ph, but if you need to raise it more after the baking soda, then use borax. You will find the bleach calc here:

You will need to put a sequesetering agent in the water to control the copper. You will need to find out if there is any stabalizer (cya) in the water to know where your chlorine level should be. You don't need calcium in a vinyl liner pool. So your hardness level of 30 is ok. Read a lot on the pool forum, and go to pool solutions to read about water chemistry. Welcome to the forum!

About rasing the Alk do you mean regular baking soda?
Where would I get the baking soda and Borax?
Yes, regular baking soda that you can buy at the grocery store, you can also buy borax in the grocery store by the clothes washing aisle. I recommend you go to the "Pool Solutions" web site - there is a whole list of swimming pool tips to read through. This site is good because it explains what you can buy from a grocery store that is the same that is sold at a pool store for much cheaper.
