The forum has been down for over a week anyway, what happened to them? are they gone forever? Does anyone know of another good site for building and learning how to build outdoor bbq's? I was learning alot from that site and now they are gone! I am sure that it has something to do with "The Man" somehow. I have my tinfoil hat handy here within arms reach at all times. ;)

Sorry, the board is unavailable at the moment while we are performing routine maintenance.

To locate a store, call 1-800-GRILLUP

For other assistance, call Customer Service at 1-800-752-3085

We will be back soon...

Hopefully it won't be too long.

Agreed - DH wants to start the plans for the built-in.

I hope they come back as well, as I was a regular...however, they (bbq galore) was starting to get quite a bit of bad comments on the forum, people saying that the customer service was getting very bad, no responses to phone calls, emails, quality of the grills, etc. So possibly, it was a PR thing, but I imagine it comes down to a $ thing, supporting the forum was probably on the chopping block to save a few bucks....

I had noticed that. It is a shame really, does anyone know of another good forum relating to outdoor barbque construction?

I found this one as well, might work better as there is a sub forum that we could use to discuss BBQ island's..

Thanks I am going to check them out. I am planning one for this fall possibly. I will be doing it at the same time that I put a bathroom in my garage, along with a patio with the grill on it. Probably a stone fireplace too, so I want to see as many designs and plans that I can to see what is possible.

I like that, funny that all of my tastes lead to fire and water. The gas company will love me. :D
