New 24' round pool... first-time owner... installed odyssey above-ground solar cover reel system in dead-center of pool... thinking I might have made a mistake by going dead-center... don't have the pull-cord on yet... ran out of daylight last night... any known issues with the cover seperating nicely and going to each end of the pool during unwinding back onto the water... wife seems to think she will need two cords (one on either end) and will have to go from one end to the other in order to put the cover back on the pool... any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I couldn't fathom how that setup would work without major problems as well, so when i set mine up, I made sure that the way I set it up was going to be the least cumbersome. I ended up putting it just off the end of the pool about 8" higher than the top rail, used different length staps to abuout 6 points on the blanket. Yes, because it's a round, it can start to bunch on itself a bit, but even the worst roll job will still get it rolled up and it almost doesn't matter how badly it's rolled, I can get it unrolled easily every time.
