I am shocking my pool right now to get rid of cloudiness-It is at 15 or so with a CYA of 30-Is it safe for my kids to swim because it is 95 here!
I understand they will get bleached suits possiby and maybe stinging eyes-but is that all?
Thanks

There is a great conversation about this very topic going on in the China Shop.

I was reading that, but it was sort of hard to follow! Hoping to get a much less complex answer, if there is one.

We swam in our pool at 22.5- you could taste it. Some hurting eyes that night- that was about it- much more dangerous if pool is indoors!
