I am planning to change from Baquciil to the BBB system. I have ordered the test kit from Ben and will start the conversion when it arrives.

Once the conversion is complete, and my numbers are correct and stable, what maintenance is involved to keep it right.

Do I add pucks in a floater to keep levels up? How often should I test? I live in texas and it is hot and sunny all the time, does that make it worse? Thanks in advance for your help.

Dan

If you use pucks, you will have to keep an eye on your CYA. That won't be a problem at first, because you will need some to make your chlorine hold through those hot, sunny days. I just add a little bleach in the evening when I get home from work. Takes maybe 2 or 3 minutes to test for chlorine and add what it needs. Good time to drink a nice cold beverage :).
