Having just replaced a liner, in my case, the most of the unattractive fading occured for me at the border area at the top of the liner on the waterline. I'm using this to protect my new liner from fading. It has a very low sheen when applied and the SPF 40 lasts for like 90 days I believe, but their site doesn't say.

I've used it for years on my car's interior as I prefer it's low shine and it is the #1 choice for rubber/vinyl protection for all the high dollar detailers. You can get it anywhere, but the cheapest way I've seen to get it is to buy the 1 gallon jugs on eBay.

Just an idea for those with interest and rest assured....though their site seems a little "as seen on TV" or a little fluffy with sales info, their products are indeed 100% what they say they are.

I'd be wondering how long it actually stays on with chlorinated water splashing against it.......

I am into auto detailing and use the protectant. It is great for use on dashboards and protecting interior items from the sun while leaving a nice finish but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it would be beneficial on the vinyl liner. From my past experiences it runs when it gets wet on some surfaces so I just don't think that it is worth it and don't want to introduce it to the water. I did though put it on my new plastic mailbox when I first set it up :D
