Here in San Antonio we are facing water restrictions they are as follows for residental pools.
All non-public swimming pools must have a minimum of 25 percent of the surface area covered with evaporation screens when not in use. Inflatable pool toys or floating decorations may be used.
Use of fountains, waterfalls, or other aesthetic water features — outdoors or indoors — is prohibited.
As my alkalinity is high due to evaporation and fill water I'm going to push it down as much as possible now.
What about a pool cover? I don't need it any warmer my pool has been 88 to 90 for a couple of weeks. Any ideas how to prevent evaporation without the pool getting warmer?
Thanks again,
Jennifer
