I test 1~2x/week with PS234 (use test strips and OTO inbetween). Since I have the faulty tips... I've been making a "best can do intelligent guess" on the FC reading (I estimate that 2~3 drops with the faulty tip is maybe the equivalent single drop)... My latest readings...
FC=4.5PPM
CC=0.5PPM
PH=7.6
ALK=100
CYA=30
CH, I normally test 1x/month... not really all that critical with a Vynil liner. Correct?
In any case I have always had a CC reading of 0.33~0.5PPM. Regardles of what the FC is the test water always turns at least a slight bit pink when I put the #3 agent in. One small drop of #2 it immediatedly turns clear.
I see other folks posting 0 CC readings all the time here. I have not been able to get there. Do I need to shock more often?
