We bought a used Esther Williams pool from a lady who said it was 10 years old. She said it was a 16x30. Every place I called to get a replacement liner said "Are you SURE it's a 16x30 because we've only ever heard of 15x30's". Even Esther Williams dealers told me this. One guy from a pool store told me to measure the interior of the pool (basically the measurements of the water) so when we did that, it was 15'x30'. I ordered a 15'x30' liner and figured I was good to go. In the meantime, I ordered a manual from Delair group that is the manufacturer for Esther Williams pools. It came today and stated my pool was infact a 16'x30'. HOWEVER, in the diagram that shows measurements, it shows the actual dimensions as being 15'x30'. I'm SOOOOOOOO confused. Is my 15'x30' liner going to fit? Or are 15'x30' oval pools actually 14'x30' or something??? I know this sounds confusing, but hopefully somebody is following me?????????

Hi, if the measurement from the inside of one side post to the inside of the one across the pool is anywhere near 15' you will be just fine.

A 16' x 30' would be very rare and I would question it also, but it is possible. As you found out. The pool would have to measure all of 16' across before I would hesitate installing that liner.

Thank you soooooooooo much Dennis! I can sleep now!!! We still are waiting for our replacement parts from Delair which are set to ship UPS this Wednesday. Hopefully they will arrive on Friday and we will have at least a pool shell by Sunday!! It's about time!
