Hey, quick question regarding making my new pump fit in my existing space. My pump came with screw in unions, but the union plus the coupler adds 4 inches to the in line. That line has a bolt threaded into the pipe that will be cut off. What is the purpose of that bolt? Can I skip it or do I need to reinstall at a new location?
