You don't have to register to search.
Just click the marked area at the top of the page, and it will take you to a search page . . . . which will allow you to create special links to Google search that search THIS site OR many others.
(Searching using the forum software isn't allowed to anyone, because it is an insecure process in this particular web-forum software package. Plus, it doesn't work nearly as well as Google, except for specialized things primarily of use to admins.)
