I have a 13000 gal pool with one skimmer, no drain and 1.5 inch pipes.
I've narrowed it down to these two:

WhisperFlo
model: WF-23 STANDARD MOTOR
3/4 HP Up-rated
SF 1.3
115V, 10.5 Amps

OR

Hayward Super II
model: SP3005X7A STANDARD MOTOR
3/4 HP Up-rated
SF 1.0
115V, 11 Amps

The WhisperFlo is $75 more than the Hayward. Which one should I get and why?

Thank you for your help.

The WhisperFlo has more braking HP (BHP = HP *SF) for less current. This means it is a more efficient pump and GPM/KWH is higher than the Hayward so I would vote for the WhisperFlo.

However, the most efficient pumps I have seen are the Hayward Northstar line of pumps. The 3/4 HP has a service factor of 1.85 and draws 11 Amps @ 115v. The highest BHP for the current and one of the best GPM/KWH. This pump will turnover the pool faster than the Wisperflow with about the same current.
