Came here to look for options on a coping replacement on a Pacific Pools 24f round pool from 1982. The pool is at my home I recently purchased and aside from the ugly broken coping, it isn't bad. I also found the original book about the pool with diagrams. The problem Im having is the coping and side walls are one piece molded so cutting the cap off may weaken the pool walls. My pool guy said that if the coping were just sitting on the wall then it wouldn't be an issue, but with it one piece, it may screw it up and shift the pool. Any suggestions? I don't see an option to post pics yet.

Thanks
