Well Water

Hey! I have a intex 16x48" pool. 4th year using and just moved to a new property with well water. Yay! Low and behold I have tea water now. Just order my k-2006 and it will be here today. I did find the thread for the Ascorbic treatment for stains and printed them off. As I wait for all the goodies to get here I was reading through the instructions and it says take your pump of filter and put it on circulate. Well, as you know these are not the best pumps in the world. Does the intex 110-120v filter pump go to circulate? Or does that mean just remove cartridge and turn off the salt water function and let it run? Sorry for the dumb question.
