Wanted to hop over here and say Hello from Tallahassee!!!
Just closed on a house around a week ago with a 24000 gallon vinyl pool. Came from a house with a hot tub and got pretty good at that so now I have to figure out the pool thing.
Im getting used to everything and have to start really knowing the k2006 kit. Right not I am fairly clear after a around 4 days of the SLAM method and not really being able to test some of the levels I know I need to test. I relied on the Pinch a Penny for some of the tests like PH and Alkalinity and CYA.
I have read through most all of the pool school stuff and have already learned so much.
With me being in FL, what should be my target CYA level? 40 or 50.
