Over the last 3-4 years I've replaced the filter from a DE to Cartridge and the motor itself on the pump, all done by a hired pool guy. When he replaced the motor I asked him to go ahead and replace the whole pump cause I would prefer having all new equipment. He said the impeller and housing didn't need to be replaced. Never-mind the fact I couldn't find a basket to fit the housing (because the lip was broken off)and debris always got through and plugged the impeller. Now i'm replacing the entire pump with a Pentair 340037 SuperFlo and I'm going to add in a Pentair Rainbow 320 Automatic inline chlorinator. I want to take this opportunity to try and improve the plumbing and spacing. Obviously the inlet lines and the return lines are where they are coming out of the ground but what configuration can I do that provides the best plumbing set up? I will take pictures of my current set up and post them once I figure out how to use this forum. Thanks
