I have a fairly recent in ground pool setup with a pretty straight forward config. That is (2) 1.5 HP pumps pushing a pop up filtration system and a skimmer.
What I am looking to do is use my home automation system to control those 2 pumps via smartthings/zwave. I am aware of the complete replacement system that would replace my mechanical timers, however those just don't make sense as they have the wasted function of scheduling built in- which is silly since that's what the smartthings controller is for.
At any rate, I would appreciate a recommendation for a simple in line zwave relay switch to simply make the electrical connection for either on or off. That way I can set my filtration schedule up in the smartthings controller and tweak it as needed. Also, a overview of where the wiring would take place based on the recommended relay.
TIA
