Hayward Ultra pool vacum going in circles

I've had this unit for 5 years and all it does is turn in one direction- new pads, New gear box, screws are all tight even on the pods shoes everything spins freely, hoses are all straight never curled. still circling and knoting up hose.

Help I am at wits end! I have done everything on your forum and still gotten nowhere!
