First off thanks for the add and much appreciative to any help that I may receive. Now I purchased a pool for my son for his birthday, it's one of those summer escapes 15'w x 3h. Now I've been trying to keep everything level and been doing so for a couple weeks now. Then I just tested the levels using the strips that come with the starter kits. It's telling me that the chlorine is 10, free chlorine is 3, ph is between 7.8 and 8.4, alkalinity is somewhere between 0 and 20 and the stabalizer is 50. Then I read that I needed to add baking soda to adjust the 2 levels outta whack. So from reading the baking soda bag it tells me to add 12 lbs. I thought that was a bit excessive so I only added a little less than half, so I'm guessing around 4.5 lbs. Now after searching Some more I come across your guys sight and I think I really screwed up. Since my son's party is tomorrow. Am I screwed or can I save it by tomorrow afternoon? Again seriously appreciate any help given. Also I've never had a pool or delt with anything like this. Thanks guys.
