I have a Triton II 100 with ZeoSand (300#) in it - the operating pressure is around 9 PSI - this seems lower than what most others I see posting have - is this within range? Is it good/bad/indifferent? :)

Thanks for the help!

It's probably fine....mine runs 10-11 with a really large filter (TR-140).

Your TR-100 is bigger than normal as well.

If you suspect it should be higher, carefully check the suction side of your system for anything that's restricting flow. Check valves, if you have any, are frequent problems.

Again, you're probably in good shape and have a nicely put together system that simply operates with little resistance.

Ooops, last minute thought....is their adequate zeosand in the filter?

As far as I know - I put 300 lbs, which is about 1/2 of the amount of sand..

I was able to up the pressure by closing my solar returns (I don't actually have the solar system on yet, just the plumbing), and that raised it up to about 12 psi - looks like it may just be pretty free-flowing, I guess.

Thanks for the help!
