I needed to drain my pool due to algae this spring. I drained (18,000 gal.), cleaned, then started to re-fill. I dont know how I missed it, however, i now notice 2 large creases on the bottom (each creating a flap about 1.5 inch). Unfortunately the pool is about 1/3 full and I cannot straighten out these creases. I'm sure these flaps will fold down due to the weight of the water, but am worried about the liner being pulled and could also have problems vacuuming the pool floor.
Can I get by with these creases or should i just cut my losses, re-drain, straighten the lining, then re-fill.

Thanks

Being as how it's only 1/3 full I'd drain and fix the problem. Since you drained it already and got away with it my guess is the liner isn't that old. I'm thinking the folds will cause problems down the road. Just my quarters worth.

Folds that big will become algae traps and can be cause for concern when the automatic cleaner hangs up and wears at them, I would also fix it.
BTW - You're the first I've ever heard of that drained the pool due to algae.......
