My current readins are:
PH 7.4
ALK 50
Chlorine 1.5 (yes, it's low)
CYA 20

It's just gotten hot an sunny so I haven't added any stabilizer this yer. Last year I was using tablets, but I dumped them for the BBB method.

So if I'm right my CYA should be around 40 and my chlorine should be at least 5-7.

Should I bring my cya up first then bring the chlorine up to at least 5?

Just trying to make sure I do it in proper order.

thanks for any tips.

FC is the most important thing for you do do right now. You can add CYA and chlorine at the same time, btw.

I added more Bleach and cya. Here are my currents levels. I feel these should be good for now.

I'm at:
cya 50-55
chlorine 4.5.
ph7.4
alk 60

You want your FC to be around 10% of your CYA. Don't let the FC drop too much lower.
