Water is clear and clean. However, when in the morning, there's what appears to be white snowflakes floating on the top of the water. They're obviously not snowflakes and I'm able to skim them out, but they've been reappearing. Any idea what they could be?

We have something similar. Ours is a fluffy seed that blows in from some kind of tree somewhere in the neighborhood. Maybe that's it??/

They do look like some fluffy seed or something from nearby trees. I was hoping they weren't some sort of calcium or other substance. I'm in Brooklyn and there's tons of trees/flowers nearby which might be causing it.
