New pool owner here , just learning. Got my pool opened about 3wks ago , I have a aquarite salt chlorine generator system by hayward, in ground pool like 18x36. My water is crystal clear but am getting absolutley no chlorine reading on my dipsticks , I have used three different brands just to make sure but no chlorine or free chlorine ? All other readings are ok . I have tried superchlorinating , turning dial up , etc.. Can my water look really clear and clean without getting any chlorine readings? Thanks in advance for any and all input . My pool guy says if there was no chlorine water would be green .. It was just opened 3 wks ago so wandering if start up chemicals may still be keeping it clear. Salt level is good as well . Any information would be appreciated..
