The pool is approx 40,000 gallons and has a 9' deep end. It is indoors in a permanent enclosed structure with skylights and has a solar cover. There is currently a 125,000 btu natural gas unit but it is not functional. I would like to run a heat pump cause we also have a 13K grid-tied solar array so it would be virtually free for me to heat the water. I have an opportunity to but a 75,000 btu aquacomfort heat pump locally for $500. I know raising the temp initially would take a bit of time but would once there would this unit maintain the temp ok or would this be a lost cause?

Thanks
Bob
