I stay in a 15,000 gl inground pool for about 8 hours per day at six days per week. I am using a combination chlorine generator (salt system) with a seperate manifold for a corona discharge system. Here are the values I keep: Cl 2.0-4.0, Ph 7.2-7.4, CH 320, Alk 80-100, CYA 100, Salt 2600-2900. My wife and I both experience itching after we are finished for the day and our skin begins and continues to dry. I have experimented with a higher ph and Alk, salt hi and lo, yet nothing seems to provide relief. Any thoughts or suggestions. By the way, we are canine hydrotherapists and the dogs seem to suffer no ill effects directly attributable to the pool water. They have 30 min. sessions v. our 8 hour stints in and out of the water.
