Hello,
I'm new this this forum and swimming pools in general. My wife and I have a home we rent out vacation home in Southern California. We want to have a pool heater put in our inground swimming pool. I've done some research in this and other forums and spoken to a handful of pool guys. The more I research, the more frustrating it gets. Each person tells me something different.
I'm not too concerned about the cost, I just want the most reliable pool heater money can buy. I ordered a Hayward H400FDN on Amazon but now a pool guy I talked to is telling me it's not a very good unit, I should get a Raypak instead. I need to make a decision soon, I'm having my plumber bring in 1.5" gas line to where I want the heater this week.
Any help/recommendations?
