I run my pool year round. In the fall, I pull the sensor and salt generator to store them and, hopefully, make them last longer. I run a spool to allow me to do this. I started preparing the pool for the upcoming season a couple of weeks ago. After testing and adding the proper chemicals, all specs are within desirable range. Hooked up the 1400 and getting a 4100 ppm salinity reading. Took sample to two different stores, each using a different brand of meter, but both came up with 3200 ppm.
Is there any way for me to re-calibrate or alter the readings at the panel to reflect the proper values or is the sensor shot? The cell and generator are just over two years old (2 seasons of use). The control panel was installed in 2010.
