I have been treating my pool for weeks in an attempt to get rid of green algae.
The water gradually turned blue but remains cloudy as green dust settles on the bottom during the night.
During the day the pool cleaner vacuums up this green dust then in the morning I backwash.
Problem is that after back washing and rinsing, green algae colored water is pumped back into the pool
I believe this is preventing the water becoming clear.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
