Hello, I have developed a leak at the connection between my Pentair Whisper Flow pump and the motor. I've checked all the bolt and they are tight.
I get a squirt of water when the motor starts and then a slow drip. Is there an O-ring or a seal between the pump and motor that could be failing?

Yes, there are several seals -
lid o-ring
shaft seal
impeller o-ring
diffuser o-ring
seal plate o-ring
Without pulling the pump and doing some disassembly, it's hard to know which seal is going. My first guess would be the shaft seal or seal plate o-ring, but that's only a guess.
Do you feel comfortable pulling the pump and taking it apart?

By the way, how old is your WhisperFlo pump?

I'm totally comfortable with pulling the pump and taking it apart. It's the putting it back together part that I'll probably fail at :)
Pump is of unknown age but the motor is 10 years old.
