Well i guess I should better explain myself.

I grew up in the pool business, my dad was a contractor in the 50s-60s specializing in Gunite pools and later, custom Gunite. I spent a great deal of my childhood working with him.

When am adult I specialized in excavation and concrete, working for some large contractors before contracting on my own.

Over the years I was searching for something that was a bit less physical and more intellectual. I eventually fell into underground locating and leak detection. I crave both types of work.

Since '09 I have been a member of the lawnsite irrigation forum and I guess I'm the leak and locate guru.

What I'd like to do on this site is help simplify water loss by helping you find leaks.

I read a thread on the forum where the op had issues pulling a new light cord through the conduit. He may have simplified his job by making an air induction eye from PVC and a few air fittings. I've found that by inducing air at a low pressure one is able to pull otherwise difficult wires with relative ease.

Well, hope you can take advantage of my experience as I'm sure I can learn from some of yours.
