Hello,
I should have done my research but I didn't think that there was a difference between above and inground pumps and filters.

So here is what I now have Hayward SP2605X7 3/4 Super Pump and the EC 65 DE Filter. 2 or so years old for $200.

I haven't bought the pool yet but I do have a sunroom on the back on my house with a jacuzzi. I have never used it because when i bought the house 2 years ago the filter gaskets were all dry rotted. So with the jacuzzi there is a heater. Heater is at ground level. Sunroom 4 ft above ground level with an underground like basement. So that floor is about 8 feet below the top of the jacuzzi. Pool will be installed about 2 feet below where the heater is at ground level. The heater is about 15 ft from the pool and the spa.

Sorry for the primative drawing!

Do you think that this filter and pump combo will work?

I can put the filter down in the room under the jacuzzi or ouside next to the heater. Plumbing not an issue.

Thanks,
Ron

Hi, Ron,

Sorry you've had no response so far......I'm struggling to understand what you're trying to do. (maybe that wine from last night???)

Try dumbing down your post a little (maybe one question at a time) and we'll get you some help. I can say this. If your filter exceeds the gpm your pump produces you can almost surely use the two together.

Track down some gpm ratings for the filter and the pump curve and we'll get started.:)
